Blog2022 ≫ Vinyl value varies

Playing records and so thinking about them a bit more, like the other day. I'm sure I've got a Poison "Look What The Cat Dragged In" vinyl somewhere too, though maybe that was a CD. I will go into the loft again in a bit. Anyway checking on discogs to see if I'd logged it there and in the P section of my record collection here and no sign of it, but I see the values have changed since the other day:

  1. The Beatles - Revolver
  2. Pulp - His 'N' Hers
  3. The Darkness - Permission To Land
  4. Suede - Suede
  5. Feeder - Two Colours
  6. The Beatles - Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band
  7. The Mountain Goats - Songs About Fire
  8. The Beatles - Rubber Soul
  9. Stereophonics - Performance And Cocktails
  10. David Devant And His Spirit Wife - Work, Lovelife, Miscellaneous

Top ten more or less the same top ten, just in a slightly different order. I think a lot of copies of the Beatles albums are sold, some for a lot, some for a little, and it really makes the mean price vary. I can't find a way to automate this, or I'd be posting it all the time.

Twenty years ago I was at "Best Of In The City" at Kings Cross Water Rats as The Darkness were performing, and twenty-seven years ago today I was at The Pogues, in Portsmouth. Think this was one of the odd ones when Shane MacGowan was not with them.

Clare at work again, T2 going to a friend's house, so T1 and I are going to the park as it is lovely out.
