Blog2022 ≫ Surprise free afternoon

Last minute T21 decided he did want to go to grandpa's house. So quickly to town to get the jumper and trainers, successful mission. Just resisted buying the new Richard Osman book, because I have a few queued up to read first. Then home, lunch and take him round there. T1 had done sports club in the morning and walked there himself, via the supermarket. I know he went to the supermarket because I got an alert on my phone that he'd used his phone to buy some lunch, very nice. Well, I couldn't see what he'd bought, but he'd spent an appropriate amount of money for a lunch. Anyway, Clare gone off to work so just to drive T2 round there... and the beetle won't start. It's the battery thing, same as the other day. Seems I was lucky to get it home from the station on Wednesday. So Grandpa came round to collect T2, I put the battery on charge, and now I'm all alone.

I've put a bolognaise in the slow cooker, called up a friend, and we're off to the Clarendon for a couple of hours.

I've done some work on this website today, some tidying up, it's basically imperceptible but I know it's been done.

Ooh also got my Appetite For Destruction down off the wall for the first time in years, played it, and it's got a scratch on it! First one of my records that has done so far.
