Base rate rises again to 2.25%, highest since 2008. This is a good time not to have a mortgage, and it will improve the chances in the premium bonds too. But not so good for people who do have a mortgage and don't have premium bonds. It makes my approximately 2% loss on my stonks investments over the past two years look even worse.
Another busy day, but at least from home. I'm tired out from yesterday, is this that long covid you get now? I'm even thinking of not going pack to parkrun on Saturday.
