Blog2022 ≫ There is new entry in my valuable vinyl chart

I went in the loft looking for a box of records which I'm sure exists (I'm sure I have a Queen II and a Beastie Boys Licensed To Ill at least) and I could not find that, but I did find a box of seven inch singles, and one of them has a good value! It's by The Mountain Goats, I don't think I've ever played it, but it has sold on discogs.com for £88. So here's my top ten now, with the average price they sell for.

  1. The Beatles - Revolver £161.33
  2. Pulp - His 'N' Hers £96.09
  3. The Beatles - Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band £73.31
  4. Suede - Suede £71.63
  5. The Darkness - Permission To Land £70.40
  6. The Beatles - Rubber Soul £61.59
  7. Feeder - Two Colours £61.11
  8. The Mountain Goats - Songs About Fire £60.72
  9. Stereophonics - Performance And Cocktails £55.00
  10. David Devant And His Spirit Wife - Work, Lovelife, Miscellaneous £53.01

I finally fixed the Feeder entry on discogs.com, I had the price for the CD single for ages, which I don't own, but the 7seven inch is also a good price. The Beatles records are old and not in perfect condition, but not awful. The others aer all at least near mint condition. I've got two copies of the David Devant one too.

I think if I can sell that Mountain Goats single I will, I have no attachment to it.
