Still got a cough, and still tired. Not actually day one billion, I guess this is day twelve. I was feeling a lot better yesterday, apart from the cough, but today I'm feeling a bit achey and tired with it. It's hot today, so lovely weather, but that and the covid did conspire to make me sweat just walking to the school and back. Still a normal day's work though, from home. Clare has done half the day from home, and then had to go into the office for the second half. My job is a lot cushier than hers, but don't tell her that. It's also looking like she's going to have to work on the forthcoming bank holiday Monday too, which slightly scuppers plans to do anything interesting with the long weekend.
Only four more sleeps until pay day. My new vinyl storage box has not arrived yet, maybe it will today. Then I have a little list of things to buy on Monday.
On sleep, I'm actually sleeping very well at the moment, I'm tired, I'm dozing off early, and I feel like I'm sleeping long. Not drinking still, of course, though not sure how long I will keep that up when I'm better.
Multiple pleasingly round gigiversaries today, twenty years ago I was at Mudhoney at the Electric Ballroom in Camden, and I remember going to the Good Mixer right before that for a friend's leaving do. Then twenty-five years ago today I was at Primal Scream at Brixton Acadamy, think that was the very late night one and someone's first gig with the band. Was it Mani out of the Stone Roses? Then less pleasingly round, twenty six years ago today I was at the Boo Radleys. One of my first gigs after I moved to London, one of the first that I remember, but surely I moved up before December that year? Maybe not.
