This is a struggle being ill, I've woken up aching all over again. Didn't sleep super well, but well enough. Did not wake up drenched in sweat at least so maybe this is breaking. Still got the very sore throat and cough.
I was feeling a bit weird on Thursday afternoon, though didn't test until Friday afternoon, so this is either day three or day four.
Watched the Taylor Hawkins tribute on Youtube last night, what a concert. I thought it started off a little bit lame and confusing. These are some of Taylor's friends playing a song by a band he liked, Justin Hawkins of The Darkness made an early and welcome appearance here, good to see him back. This would be good in a club, but this is Wembley Stadium. But it really did ramp up, I knew it would have members of big bands, but thought it might be just the drummers, playing along with Foo Fighters. This was the case with Lars Ulrich of Metallica, but then he played along with Brian Johnson on vocals for a couple of AC/DC songs. Justin Hawkins popped up again at this point, and seemed to be trying to make some sort of intervention. Then unexpected bands played, including Supergrass, and who the hell is Kesha? It went up from here, Rush, Queen, and I thought that would be it. Then a full Foo Fighters greatest hits, including some moving bits with family including Taylor Hawkins' son, and then they brought on Paul McCartney. Amazing stuff. My nephews were lucky to be there. I did not consider going, but imagine if I had and then could not because I was ill??
I might reinstate the old covid death graph just while I'm ill, cheer me up a bit.
