Blog2022 ≫ Train travel has changed

Up super early for work today, extra early, so as to get a free parking space. I got the free parking space, probably the last one, probably not big enough for all cars to get in. Squeezed the beetle in though. Then noticed I was actually on time for the 6:30 train in, it must have been slightly delayed.

Train semi busy, but I noticed that the tables were empty. Everyone wants to sit in a "two", no-one wants to sit on "four" because you then have to sit opposite someone. I sat on a four, and it stayed mostly empty all the way to London. Some people were even standing rather than squeeze on.

Busy at work but didn't feel super productive, office based days tend to be like this. Long day though, as even though I was in the office about quarter to eight, I had a late meeting that always takes up the full time. Might take a bit back tomorrow.

Claimed my expenses for the Prague trip, only a slight hiccup where we had eaten more than our daily allowance on one day.

Still working through my birthday vinyl on the new gramaphone, still listening on headphones. Really enjoying it though, really focussed onthe music and the sound.
