Blog2022 ≫ Booked the final parts of my grand Eurotour

I have the missing train ticket and accomodation in Brussels now. But following how difficult I found it to do the parkrun and then carry on with the day I have decided to can that part of it. And good job too as now we find there is a train strike that day, so the whole beginning of the trip needs a rethink. This is what I have so far:

I have mostly prioritised cheapness here as the cost of this holiday is already huge, but I think it adds more to the experience, the interrailing type holiday that I never did when I was young.

I was lucky to get the coach, lucky I thought to look at it today. There are three coaches a day going to London, and two of them were completely sold out already. There's only one that would get me to my Eurostar in time and that was the only one that wasn't sold out. So it's another 6am bus for me which means a 5.30 taxi this time I think. Or start walking at 5am. Early start anyway!

We've also now bought our train tickets from Rome to Naples, and then Naples to Sorrento, so we are fully ready to go.

It's been HOT again today, I was sweating just going for a walk to Sandgate. And that was without my backpack on. What is it going to be like in Rome?
