Blog2022 ≫ Electricity use yesterday might have been a fluke

Today it has gone back up again. However in other news the gas usage is in, the numbers don't quite tally up with what the energy meter tells me I'm using. The new "7am wake up costs" look about the same as they did before, but my smart meter display tells me I've used 25p worth of gas by the time I get up. One of them is not right. I've combined the electricity and gas usage and made the graph the graph of the costs now, so it looks slightly different to before. But not much. I'll embed a graph here, so it's getting annoying now I'm sure. I'll stop doing this when I stop changing the graph each day1.

I stayed up too late doing this yesterday. You can use this to make your own graph2, make sure you sign up for Octopus energy here3. Last graph until I make another significant change.

Quite tired now, as well as staying up too late I went for a run today to try out the new shoes. They're fine, they feel a bit firm so far, but they are brand new. They also feel a bit taller. They should soften up. I did 6km around Hythe and back along Princes Parade. They've started boarding up Princes Parade now, the first steps to completely destroying it for housing.

I will go to bed earlier as I'm up early for London tomorrow. Not sure who is going to be in, hardly seems worth me going in, as usual.

Ozzy Osbourne twelve years ago today in Folkestone! We have hardly ever been to gigs in Folkestone.

5k: Five km, about three miles in old money.
