Great to see the conservatives getting their arses handed to them in those two by-elections. Hoping it is a sign of things to come. Probably some tactical voting involved there but whatever it takes to get rid of these people who are destroying our country.
Pay day came at last! I ordered a couple of things, and cleared the debts, and paid into the food account. I am not overstretching myself by ordering a case of wine nor buying any shares unless there is money left over later. Still doing my regular savings of share save, huge pension contribution, which are already taken, and premium bonds which will come out on Monday. Then there's still plenty left. Pay rise arrived this month which is good.
I do have to think about hotels and trains for my big August trip, and I am heading to Tesco now for my 15% discount lunch.
Friend is off on a tour of California with his family. He had a false start with delayed flights and missed connections but now they're off to LA, Monterey, San Francisco, Sequoia, Los Angeles, and San Diego. This reminded me of the sad clown. Hmm I didn't really like California at all.
