Blog2022 ≫ Mouse man came back for the third time

This was a planned final visit and clean up. He did not bring any mice this time. It has cost me £250 in total, and he found one mouse. Hopefully that's it.

Really nice to see mainstream news stories slipping out now that, yes brexit was a bad idea and has been proven to be bad for us. Kind of sad kind of hilarious but mostly predictable that those who campaigned for brexit are now saying "of course this is not the brexit we wanted, it's everyone elses fault"...

Hearing a rumour that we don't have to go into the office next week, because of train strikes. And in other good money saving news, next week is the final payment on the sofa I think, so that gives me some money back each month from July onwards. Enough to buy some new running shoes!

Blinds man is coming tomorrow to fit them in the lounge.

Really nice day out today but been too busy to go far. My legs are fine after yesterday's long run so that's a nice quite recovery time. Took me about four days last week.

Enjoyed Soccer Aid1 yesterday, we all watched. Disappointing loss for England on penalties, but was a decisive drubbing on penalties when it came to it. Having a good celebrity goalie seems to be the most important thing. Why couldn't they bring David Seaman on? We will try and go to this live next year.

Still not drinking in June, that's been over a week now.
