Blog2022 ≫ Confusing call from the window cleaner

Our window cleaner has been trying to get hold of me for a couple of days. Neither has the others number but we are running friends so he left me a message on Strava to call him. What have I done? Have I not paid him? Are his prices going up? I was slightly fearing getting back in touch with him. Eventually we did, and he said "Do you know I only clean your windows every other month? But you pay me monthly"... we are properly in credit, so I've cancelled the payment for the rest of the year.

Work very busy. It's my week to be on "gardening" duty, this mostly involves deleting emails. I mean, I'm sure there's more to it than that, but that is how it feels. It means I have to be close to the computer all day, so I could not go out for a lunch run. I did a bit on the treadmill before work started and it turned into 7km, so I am ahead of the game still. 51km run in the last 7 days. I can't quite work out the total for the month so far, but as long as my rolling week doesn't drop below 50km I'm OK. This is for my "stretch" goal too of 200k in May, I'm obviously way on track for the original 100km.

Suede this day in 1999. Does not look like it was a great setlist:

I was really trying to find what other bands played with them that night, I think there would have been three on the bill. Seems one of them was Ultrasound.
