Blog2022 ≫ Fake Monday

Has felt like a Monday of course, because of the bank holiday. Very confusing that we are not having penne arrabiata today, but jacket potatoes and sausage casserole instead. Boys have been at school, we've been at work, me at home though. Clare for her first day out with a new team, that went well. Me having my normal hectic Tuesday of meetings, maybe less hectic than usual, but a lot of discussion about how we should be writing tests.

I did some treadmilling so I think I am 21% done in "100k in May", I might try and make it 200km. But I might not. I ran a bit before breakfast, like I did when I was doing runuary. Tomorrow I will try and go outside.

I was proactive today and booked the plumber, though he cannot come for a week. I also booked the blinds people, let's go for it, I'll credit card it because I've already allocated all this month's money. We got a call back though, what colour blinds did we want? I already said we want white, but they have five types of white. I have to go in there on Saturday.

I booked an event for thing two and me on Saturday too, something Folkestone creative foundation are involved in, some sort of interactive trail based around animal tracks. I thought it was his sort of thing, I hope it is fun.

We have been watching "The 1% Club", a new quiz on TV with Lee Mack. It's quite good, it's not really a quiz, it's more riddles and logic puzzles, just the boys' sort of thing. The first episode only thing two watched, and he smashed it. The second one we all watched together and thing two found it frustratingly tricky. I think we will watch more.

This day in previous years I was watching Belle And Sebastian, Ricky Gervais, and Rollins Band. But no pleasingly round years or surprisingly early ones. Actually the Ricky Gervais one was early for him, it was a pub gig, none of your golden globes and that.
