I have just three more payments to make on this sofa. So what should I buy next? Actually I know what I should buy next, I have a big old list, there's nothing significant like a sofa though. The blinds are coming next, new ones for the lounge and one bedroom. I really like our big heavy curtains on a pole in the lounge, but they do intrude into the room slightly and they don't go with anything else now we've changed the sofa. That is not a very exciting purchase really. I could take the amount I'm paying monthly on the interest free for the sofa into paying someone to do the garden maybe? Or put it in a fund for the car, or more stonks, or save it. It's not a hugely significant amount these days, but it's nice to get any "debts" like this out of the way.
The end of the sofa payments are going to coincide with summer holiday, and also approximately my 100th parkrun. I have done 81 so far, I was working it out, would my 100th be the one in Rome, if I were to do one in Rome? Probably a crazy idea to even try, it would be too hot, but it would be fun.
No big plans for the day. Clare is at the gym, the boys are gaming, I have had a lazy breakfast. We're going to walk to Hythe this afternoon and go in a cafe.
Yesterday I had a nice quiet lazy afternoon. After the shopping and getting some lawn feed and weed killer I took a walk into Hythe, but to the Potting Shed instead of a cafe. It was quiet, but nice. Hmm, that sounds like I took the weed killer for a walk into Hythe, I did not. I put some on the weeds on the path, but did not do the lawn feeding as I need to wait until the ground is a bit damp out there.
