Blog2022 ≫ We did an escape room and now we are addicted

Had a day in Canterbury today, a so-so lunch in Pizza Express. I like Pizza Express, but for some reason that's not a good one, even though we had a table overlooking the river. Then after a brief browse in HMV we went to Escape Kent1, an escape room in Canterbury. I was sceptical really but trying not to show it, Clare and the boys were really looking forward to it. It was really good, so good we have booked another one for when we go to London at easter. Will we become those people who travel around doing escape rooms now?

Has there been a real murder mystery story set in an escape room yet?

No Sunday afternoon trip to the Inn Doors today as I had a Saturday afternoon trip there yesterday instead. Then a night in, watching TV. Which is what we'll be doing tonight. I will return to French film La Belle Epoque2 which I started last night.

Something missing from my gig history! Twenty-one years ago today I was at Cooper Temple Clause at the 100 Club. I thought they were amazing at the time, have not thought about them at all for a long time. Anyway on that page it only says "Other gigs at 100 Club I have been to are Scarfo (1997)" and I know I've been to more than that including David Devant And His Spirit Wife... I was about to add The Darkness, Goldie Lookin Chain, and Kaiser Chiefs3 but now I see that was actually Metro, not the 100 Club. I have been to more shows there though, I knows it.
