Nearly forgot about Earth Hour 1 on Saturday. Not a super exciting, event, anticlimax if anything, but I felt like I was doing my bit. Come the time I cut the power to everthing I could, just not the fridges. The boys went to bed to read with torches, which they liked. Looking out our around here all the street lights still on, though it looked like some neighbours might have joined in. Our house did not go completely dark, I had not turned off at the fuse box or anything, so the lights in the hallway came on when anyone moved about. Apart from that the only light was the emergency one from the Nest thermostat, plus the regular pathway lights from the smoke alarms. Apart from that though it was pretty dark, and it felt good.
