Sensible Saturday following a slightly excessive Thursday and Friday celebrating the pub reopening. Stayed in, and made jerk "chicken" wraps for the boys. Was too spicy for them really but they ate it all and said they'd have it again. The extra spiciness distracted them from it not being chicken too, it was all vegan. I mixed in some brocolli and peppers and served it with salad, pretty good.
Fairly quiet day today, Clare is at work again. Shopping has been, the boys are gaming. One is going to a friend's house this afternoon and I'll go with the other to the park to play some football and stuff. On our bikes. Going there on our bikes, not playing football on bikes.
I bought one of these yesterday1, it's so cheap it can't be any good, but it's so cheap I could take the risk. I was ordering a normal one with USB1 from the same brand, and so took the chance. Arriving today, we'll see. I'm gradually replacing the LightwaveRF sockets, but it seems to be neverending. Surely I already sold a load? And removed two more this week, but still have at least three in the walls here. They're easy to forget as they tend to be hidden away.
I also ordered a USB drive for the TV1. Had this in my basket for ages, was going to use it for transferring music onto my phone and then realsed I think I can plug it into the TV and record straight to it. Might this be the end of the Humax box?
After yesterdy's talk of The Cure at the Barfly, today is the eighteenth anniversary of seeing the Pet Shop Boys at the same venue. Same charity week of special events. I was at one eighteen years ago tomorrow too, stay tuned.
