Blog2022 ≫ Fun online auctions that are not costing me anything

I've been watching the Habitat Radius on ebay again, and even made a bid on something today. I put a reasonable bid on on a tallboy, as it was collection only, and only about thirty-five miles away. I dropped my max offer, working out what the effort of collecting it is worth to me, and then left it at that. I was outbid. I might just buy a new one1 but am not desperate for it. I must wait until the novelty of my new chair has worn off, I won't fully appreciate it.

Another win, sort of, I made an offer on a ScottEVest shirt that I quite fancy, but don't need. It was up for £35, I offered £25, they countered with £30, so I left it, They've offered it again at £30 but I'm not biting. I've had all the excitement of bidding on these things and it's not cost me anything.

Nice day out today, though not a nice day out. We went to Canterbury, first to a big inflatable thing, a sports hall full of bouncy castle. The boys had a fun hour there, then we went into the centre and a lunch at Wagamama. We've had a nice time but the weather is still a shocker here. I could do with walking off that lunch, still feeling full, but the weather is too ropey. Remember when I used to walk down to the Inn Doors on a Sunday afternoon? Feels like ages ago now.

Someone is pestering me about buying my twitter username2, but without actually making an offer. Not really interested in getting in a chat about it. I'm suspicious of anyone approaching me, I think if I want to do a deal with anyone I'd make the first move. Like with the beetle, I was not suspicious about the guy coming to the door at first, but more so after, and rightly so I think. I've asked for business details three times now and the texts have dried up. Think I'm going to have to go back to somewhere I've been before if I want it fixed up.

Expecting a busy week at work this week, then surely the pressure will be off for a while. Surely?
