Have not really exercised all week, even the swimming didn't really count, it was just a wallow. Was not intending to go to parkrun today, was going to have a lie in. Did not stay up very late last night, didn't go out, didn't drink much, so I was awake in plenty of time. So up and out, and it was lovely. A nice calm day out there after the chaotic weather of yesterday. I did not see any damage anywhere, though I'm sure there was some, just lots of twigs blown off trees. I had a gentle run and was about a minute slower than usual.
Nothing really planned for the rest of the weekend. I will go out for a walk later, maybe via the Potting Shed. Half tempted to go and look for a socket to replace another of the old shiny LightwaveRF ones with a white one with USB built in. I might just order one online though and do it next week.
Work has been very busy this week, even with my week off, so it'll be nice to have a lazy one.
Watching a really good French crime drama on the BBC called The Promise. Very good, from the makers of Spiral.
I've done a Tesco run today, including a stock up of wine because of the extra 25% off six bottles (and because if I don't get a load of affordable bottles in Clare is just opening my good bottles), and I've got enough in for tea too so I can have a relaxing sit in my new chair for a couple of hours I hope.
It's 2000ad's 45th birthday today, I might catch up on some of those. Who knew there was a TV ad fro 2000ad 1? No sign of Judge Dredd there yet as he did not appear until prog 2.
