Only a week to go now of dry-runuary. Hopefully less than a week to go for your Boris Johnson and his mad lies of claiming not to be at parties and also not knowing what the rules were around social gatherings during the lockdown.
5km on the treadmill this morning before work, and then leftover chinese takeaway for tea.
Yesterday was quite a chilled day in the end, very relaxing, not sure what made it so different. I did my 10km on the treadmill in the morning, had a very late breakfast, so no lunch. Then took thing one for his second vaccination in Dover. He was nervous but it was all fine. Then in the afternoon Clare and thing two made vegan chocolate mousse with aquafaba, yes actually the bit you throw away from a tin of chick peas. They were really good, I'm amazed this chick pea water whipps up like that. Then in the afternoon we played Catan1 and I did really badly again. Then the first go at the aforementioned Chinese takeaway from Nine Dragons, an episode of Death In Paradise and then back to Michael Palin's Around The World In Eighty Days. A very enjoyable weekend.
The Inn Doors was closed yesteday, I don't think it's all my fault though. They're shut this weekend too. I'll be back there in a couple of weeks I hope.
One of my favourite gigs thirty-one years ago today. The scanned in ticket has the wrong date on it as the gig was rescheduled. Twenty-five years ago today, a pleasingly round anniversery for a less interesting gig, Kula Shaker at Brixton Academy.
