We had our new year's celebration last night, as the Inn Doors is not opening today. Well, I suspect they are but only for friends and family. Last night it was not busy but I did have half a dozen friends in there. Shockingly there was no choice of beer, there was only one barrel on, and it was 1381. It was OK. Landlord Gary did not want to have more barrels on the go as he feels there is a risk of pubs being made to close again any day now. I'm not sure that will happen, I'm really hoping we're over the peak of covid now... he will have to face dryanuary starting tomorrow though. I will be doing it, and Clare too, but not sure how many other of his customers would. January is always a quieter time for them.
Friends came round today with their children, sounds like they have a really good blinds solution in their house. We've seen it before but will go round there again for another look and see if it's suitable for our lounge. Then, if we get rid of the curtains that will make the room seem bigger and make room for my new IKEA chair. I'm waiting for the price to go down again. It keeps going up.
Parkrun tomorrow I think, so I did a little trial run on the treadmill today. Then I may try to do a runuary challenge again too. Clare has some 2022 push-up challenge too that I might try and join in on. I will get fit and strong in January, just you see.
