Aaargh, the covers don't come off this one to go in the wash.
Before that we had a lovely day in Canterbury while the boys were round grandpa's. We had lunch in the Veg Box Cafe and Clare looked at expensive coats and actually bought some new running shoes. We nearly spent our christmas money on a heated clothes airer, but did not. Then we went to the Thomas Tallis for a lovely pint, and we would have stayed a bit longer but a friend texted me and suggested we go to the Clarendon. So we did! I had many pints there and came home and fell asleep on the sofa and the rest is history.
My misdemeanor is nothing compared to this though, such floundering, such lies1:

Today I had to go back to work after my little christmas break. Working from home though, so not too bad. I'm in tomorrow too, then going out for "our" new year's eve tomorrow night at the Inn Doors. The Inn Doors is not open on actual new year's eve. Then actual new year's eve I'm working again, then a long weekend.
