I got fuel last night, after tea. Drove up to Tesco, risking the spoonful I had left in the beetle to do so and there was almost no queue. Almost no queue is a good sign, no queue would have meant there was no fuel again, and I might not have been able to hold out for a long queue. As I pulled into the petrol station, they moved cones and fencing around behind me to close it again. They said it wasn't fuel though, it was staff shortages. Your man johnson says there's no crisis though so it's all ok.
I'm not going into the office tomorrow, they've made it optional again for this week, because of a mini covid outbreak last time. I could still go in, but it would have involved putting the little one into breakfast club and still being late for work so I'd have to stay late and really making a day of it. This way I have another £80 in my pocket for another week too.
Tomorrow is a big gig anniversary for me.
