Blog ā‰« 2021 ā‰« Lovely day in Canterbury in the rain

Had a sensible amount of beer in the Inn Doors on Friday night, drinking the green hopped ale from Hop Fuzz that was made with the hops that I grew, amazing when you think about it. And it was very nice. Then home early to watch the Friday night TV shows including Bake Off Extra Slice and Taskmaster.

Started Saturday with a dreadful parkrun. My left knee twinged about 3km in so I had to stop and limp for a bit. Lovely the number of people who checked if I was ok, parkrun is brilliant. I finished the 5km but with a very bad time.

Then home, changed, the boys went to grandpa's and Clare and I went to Canterbury. Some successful shopping, a lovely lunch in Veg Box Cafe, and a lovely beer in the Thomas Tallis. Man alive didn't it rain though? Raining fairly hard all day, and then really camed down over night. it stopped the boys going out to play football like they wanted too.

Home again for great chuck-in-the-oven dinner from Marks And Spencer and we watched an old film Flight Of The Navigator1. The boys enjoyed it.
