The new Nest talking smoke alarm detected smoke:
Warning, there is smoke in the hallway. The alarm is going to sound soon. It will be loud.
It's so polite. It was only me burning the sausages, and in the end I wafted the smoke away and the alarm didn't go off. It did tell us about it on the two floors where I have these smart Nest smoke alarms though. Glad it's working!
