Parkrun yesterday morning, not bad, a shade over twenty-three minutes. Very hot indeed, and only about three hundred people turned out compared to the four hundred the week before. This following a lovely evening at the Inn Doors. I missed the last couple of weekends, everyone asked where I'd been on holiday. I have not been on holiday.
Yesterday we went to Canterbury to the lovely Curzon Cinema to see Jungle Cruise. Very good, kind of like Pirates Of The Carribean and Indiana Jones and other family adventure films like that. Nice small cinema too, we thought we had the screen to ourselves for a while until two people came in even later than us.
Lunch at Whole Food Cafe and then a family meal deal from M&S for tea, now you can get vegan options in the "four mains and four extras for a tenner". We have some left over too, I got another vegan lasagne for my tea for the next day and another pizza for the freezer in that one.
We're going on a sort of protest walk in a bit, for Princes Parade. Not quite sure what it involves, a gentle walk up and down murmuring our discontent with the plans to move the road and mess up the seafront. Then after that maybe a hair cut if there is time, then the others are going for pizza and I'm going back to the Inn Doors for a bit.
It's still a very nice day today, will be nice for the walk.
