Blog โ‰ซ 2021 โ‰ซ Clare won the Olympics sweepstake

All over for another four years then. Except it is only three years until the next Olympics. Clare won the sweepstake, she picked the most carefully, I picked a bit randomly really. I came last, thing one was third, thing two in second and Clare first. Thing two had the host nation Japan who were the best performing of all the teams we were allowed to choose from, but Clare's combo of teams came out top.

Don't seem to have done a lot today, the boys have seen some friends, we've been to the park, and I've done a double lot of cooking. Now winding down ready for another busy week at work.

I had a day off booked this week which I may cancel. Clare's passing out parade has been postponed. It's good really, as by postponing it hopefully they'll be allowed to invite more guests. Right now it was going to be a struggle to choose who would be able to go and see her graduating. We could not have got both boys in. Maybe in October we can. Hmm, but only then if it is in half term, and we don't decide to try and go on holiday in that half term...
