Good busy, rushing to get things finished or at least in a good state ready for a day off tomorrow. No I'm not spending quality time with the children I'm finally going on a long planned day out to the Red Lion in Snargate. We've been talking about this for years, it's impossible to get too, too far to walk or cycle and not on a bus route. But it's supposed to be really good. And it's only open old school hours too, closing in the afternoon. We're getting a train to Appledore and walking from there and it sounds like it's going to rain. Was amazing weather today while I was indoors working really hard, but not so lucky tomorrow. After that we've booked a taxi to another pub that is on the bus route, and then home. Maybe via another pub. I have to be home at tea time so Clare can head off to work and I can snooze in front of the TV while the boys smash the house up.
I ordered some new bedding from IKEA, spending our birthday money on it, and was very pleased that it was estimated to be delivered tomorrow. Normally it takes weeks from IKEA, normally I probably have a bigger more complicated order. Anyway, got an update to say it has been delayed, so it may yet still take weeks.
This is some poor reporting1 how did they miss the big story of my 37th place?
I was a David Devant And His Spirit Wife gig twenty years ago today. Not quite so many gigs on this time of year normally because of festival season.
Oh and I won £25 on the Premium Bonds, and the shares and crypto are going up again, nice.
