Happy birthday to Clare and also me. We are celebrating with a little super-spreader jaunt to London. Mask on and all precautions taken of course.
Nine years ago today we were at the Olympics opening ceremony gig (not the opening ceremony but that concert in Hyde Park where we also watched the opening ceremony on a big screen back stage.
Enjoying the olympics, especially the triathlon. I am starting to think "could I complete an event like that", but look at the pace they go. There was a new record parkrun time in Folkestone on Saturday, and the pace for the womens 10k run, after they'd already cycled 40km and swum 1500 metres was not far off that. Crazy fast.

10k: Ten kilometres, just over six miles in old money. Sometimes talking about 10,000 steps though, an arbitrary daily step count target.
