I had a bonus trip out to the pub on Saturday night, as Clare's plans were cancelled as they could not get a table anywhere. I popped in to the Inn Doors before the football and we watched the rest at home. Thing two has got more into it now England are on a winning streak, he made hats and flags.

Twenty years ago today I was at a Gene gig. Seems Ricky Gervais was there too, I wrote about it on Popex at the time. Twenty-four years ago though was KISS in Finsbury Park. I'm hoping we can go see KISS again next year, with the kids even! They are headlining Download festival.
Busy day again today. Clare has her assessments this week, so doing odd hours again. Jim is going on holiday, so I need to go and fee his cat tonight. Also the cat needs medication an hour before the food, so we all have to hang around at his house for an hour. To facilitate this while Clare is out, I have to use his car, which means I need to take him to the train station this morning. I have meetings, think I can just mute myself for twenty minutes. Will anyone notice? Can I do the meeting on my phone?
The beetle is a very sensible car, it is fine that I can't drive anywhere with the boys.
