Blog2021 ≫ We bought a sofa

Can't remember if I said that we bought a sofa or not, but we did and it looks like this!

I don't like it so much with the foldy up big folded up, it looks a bit flimsy. But it's a good size and comfortable and mostly can be a straight sofa, making the room look bigger and cleaner. And when Clare wants her feet up, up it goes, and for the first time I have the foot rest option too. And it's motorised, don't tell the kids.

I can look for a chair to match this later.

Man alive work has been exhausting today, hopping from call to call. Mostly investigating, and discussing, not much actual doing. That seems to be my future.

We survived another day with Clare being out, still got a few more to do. I enjoyed the England / Germany match, and the following Ukraine / Sweden match, though that one seemed to turn into a bit of an injury fest. With all the extra time I turned off and tried to go to bed by 10pm, but I could not sleep and was still awak when Clare came in.
