We had a lovely pizza to celebrate Clare's good exam result , though I was so full after mine, I had a bit of an attack. I was hot and needed fresh air, I thought I was going to burst. Did they not put the vegan cheese on it or something? It has two types of cheese, did it have some real mozerella? It can't just be the big dish of roast potatoes I had on the side, surely...
Thing two has gone in for his last day of this term, it's a tag day, he's taken emu in, and he's spiked up his hair. They have a "break the rules" day, so he's paid three pounds for these privileges, plus the option to call his teacher by her first name, and for him to be called by a different name. He has swapped names with a friend for the day.
Thing one is actually in school still tomorrow, but he has a tag day too. Then it's the week off for them and a long weekend for us all!
I have Clare's shift patterns for work now. Apart from her late training week which messes with everything there is not a shift that affects swimming at all yet. The first Friday when I can't go to the Inn Doors is not until the beginning of August. There are some hard shifts for her, and it messes up some weekends, but doesn't fall too badly so far. Things will change again when I go back to London but I don't have dates for that yet.
Took so long to publish this that I have been for a run at lunch, cheeky 5k to Hythe and back.
