I see lots of sea-swimmers when I'm out running, it's quite popular round here. Sometimes called wild swimming, I should probably just call them "swimmers". They are swimming in the sea though, in inappropriately cold weather. You know who they are even if they're not in the water or even on the beach because they're wearing a dryrobe 1. I am impressed by them, and I want to give the impression I am one of them. However I don't really want to be going swimming in the sea. I came up with a compromise, I bought a dryrobe for thing two 1, it is well handy for his swimming. It came with a sticker, so I have put it on my laptop. Now I just have to be able to go out and about again, take my laptop to cool cafes, and people will see it and think I am a cool sea swimmer. I am hoping this dryrobe is going to revolutionise our swimming pick up. I'm not allowed in the pool with him, so he has to dry and change himself and I have to wait outside. If he can just wrap this round him and come out to the car I will save about five minutes every week.
Thing two's parents evening went really well, they're as pleased with him as we are. The teacher mentioned his writing, which is funny, and has his own style, and how he's way ahead in everything. I should get him a reward for this, I don't think the dryrobe is going to cut it, he will want some Minecraft upgrades or something.
Thing one is doing quite well, not back to school but responding to the antibiotics. He got his enthusiasm for gaming back by the end of the day yesterday, and ate some dinner. Maybe back to school tomorrow.
Shares and cryptocurrency done quite badly yesterday. Work going well though.
