Went out for a cheeky lunchtime run, as I have been a bit lazy over the last week. A bit chilly and spitting so I think I went a bit faster. It start booting it down with hail when I got back in. What is it doing hailing in May? We had a downpour of sleety hail yesterday too.
Working quite hard at the moment, as work is quite hard, things are conspiring against me. Since I got my laptop back it's not quite been right and I never managed to set the replacement one up properly, so nothing is quite working correctly. Things are not installed and I don't have passwords saved and things so it's a bit slow going. Still I'm doing some good work I think.
Shares are having another bad and my Dogecoin cryptocurrency investment has stalled too. It's way up, but just stopped rising now.
I finally contacted someone about getting our sofa recovered. Their website 1 is all "refurbishing a long cherished heirloom for the individual home-owner or building multiple pieces of bespoke furniture for an interior designer" so I suspect we'll end up going back to DFS but it's worth a shot". We don't even love the sofa we have, I don't know why I'm bothering. We just can't agree on anything new. I have seen a corner Chesterfield, I am hoping I can talk Clare round. I have an idea in the back of my head that if we could get this one recovered, I could get it customised too, putting in recharging points and hidden buttons and things. Unlikely.
The week is going quite fast, nice having Mondays off. We're making plans to go back to the pub tomorrow. Hopefully avoiding the hail.
Swimming tonight. Ooh that means the Inn Doors is open a week from today.
