All go today, at least it makes the weekdays go quickly, and it's nearly the weekend.
Busy day at work, some extra meetings and a bit of a change of focus, and some work that I thought was going to go smoothly not gone so smoothly. Still, getting there, and the pressure keeps it interesting.
Then mid morning, lots of texts from thing one. He's forgotten his sports kit, can I bring it to him? A few texts back to say yes I can, at lunchtime, where should I meet him? No response, and no answer phoning him. Should I bike up there on the off chance I can meet him and take up my whole lunch hour? Probably. I gave the beetle a go, and it started on the fourth time. It has no accelerator pedal remember but I just about limped up there. Still no answer on the phone so I left the PE kit at the school office. I got a bit of a telling off for this, it's not allowed, a) because coronavirus, and b) there are 1000 kids there and they don't want 1000 PE kits dropped off at the office. Just this once I was OK. Still no response from thing one.
Clare called me to say had I sorted it? He's been texting her to say why was I ignoring him?
We found later on his phone that he had blocked my number. Accidentally I'm sure.
Swimming went well today. I had a nice walk round Hythe while he was doing diving practice.
