I'm not sure he's as thrilled with this as I am. But I am, and so that's OK. I thought it was going to be really easy to fit, these lights have very nice WAGO style clips to hold the wires in place now. However the wiring coming from the ceiling didn't have a lot of give in it, so it was quite tricky to put it all in place while holding my arms over my head. Still, done now, what room do I do next? There's only bathrooms and hallways left now.

I've got all my running stats posting back here again. Just needed a version update. Had a slightly patchy run yesterday morning to Sandgate and back, but the good thing about it was getting it done before all my other jobs, so I had more time to relax in the afternoon. I did relax by doing the DIY electrics above mostly, but I had an hour to sit with a book too. I'm persevering with Rivers of London1 even though I'm not loving it.

Ran again this morning, had big plans to do more than 10km but the same thing happened at last week, my body started complaining just before the 10km mark, so I stopped as soon as I'd passed that and walked the rest of the way home.

Think I have to be one of those annoying people who phones their GP tomorrow, to ask are you sure I've not been forgotten about? Have heard of two cases now of friends younger than me who have been invited for the vaccine, one is even at the same GP as me. I have a bit of a theory she's actually not as young as she says and that's why she's been invited already, but Emma has also had her jab and she's the definitely the same age as Clare. I'm trying to find out if I can log in and see what contact details the NHS have for me, I know they have our correct address, but maybe they have texted my old mobile number or something? Andy and Dave have both had their jabs now too, I don't want to be the very last one.

10k: Ten kilometres, just over six miles in old money. Sometimes talking about 10,000 steps though, an arbitrary daily step count target.
