Some confusion about when schools might be reopening apparently. Got an update from the school to say, nah, not yet:
- Schools will not open over half-term for vulnerable children or children of critical workers (this is a change from the first national lockdown)
- The earliest schools might ‘begin to re-open’ to the wider community of school children will be Monday 8th March (this is the start of the third school week after the half-term holiday)
- There will be a plan/review set out on Monday 22nd February (the first day after the half-term holiday), with further updates
- When the decision to return has been made, schools will get two weeks’ notice of this.
Twenty-five years ago today I was at the Mike Flowers Pops I think. I have a Shed Seven gig for the same date, so one of them is wrong, I definitely clearly remember working at the Mike Flowers Pops one though.
