Blog ≫ 2021 ≫ Looks like we are not going to Glastonbury in 2022 either
We tried to go to Glastonbury in 2020, but failed to get tickets. Never mind we'll try again next year. Glastonbury was cancelled so the 2020 ticket holders roll over to the next year. This year. Now it's cancelled again, so a double rollover of tickets. I will actually be fifty the next time it's on and no chance of getting tickets again.
Twenty-four years ago today I was at an NME Brats gig. I ought to be able to remember this one better, a great line up. I went to a lot of similar shows like this though. Super Furry Animals, Kenickie, Bis, and Dweeb. I am sure someone I know was in Dweeb but I didn't know this at the time.
Thanks to @adeibiza1 I have more gig evidence too. I remember this day, not so much the gig, but being delayed at a hotel before the gig. I was doing some kind of web support for the journalist who was interviewing Jason from Spiritualized before the gig, and he sould not come out of his hotel room.
