Our hack day at work went well, especially as it all came together at the end. Many reasons that it went well, one we got something actually done and demoable for tomorrow. Two I got something done that can even be delivered, that I have been trying to talk people into the last couple of weeks. Three I shoehorned a game into the thing we made too, so that's sure to be successful. It's another rubbish little "game and watch" type game but it suits work and it is fun for a little hidden thing in a web page.
Worked really hard on this today so finished late and had a short lunch, so not much exercise. Didn't fancy going out for a run again, though Clare did. Haven't been out since Saturday, will try and go out this Saturday. Feel like opening one of my new bottles of wine later. Some quite good TV at the moment, though Clare is less convinced. I'm quite enjoying The Frankenstein Chronicles 1 that we just found, though it was on a couple of years ago. It's grim in parts, and laughable in othes, but it has lots in to make you feel clever when you spot who these very famous people are before they point them out. We also just finished the American Dirk Gently's Holistic Detective Agency 1. It's complicated nonsense but quite fun.
Found out we can get our new car on christmas eve. Are we still allowed to actually go out and fetch it though? These new "you can meet up at christmas, but don't" rules are ridiculous. I know it's a tough situation but Boris Johnson is a ridiculous clown. Just man up and tell it like the science says it is, stop trying to put the responsibility and blame on people who don't know and don't understand.
Looks like three gig anniversaries today, David Devant AND Gorrillaz in 2001, two in the same night? Gorillaz one was very late at a nightclub somewhere. Fabric? So probably. Then also there's a My Life Story from 1996.
Death numbers are going to soar.
