Blog ≫ 2020 ≫ I found some IPOD socks
Awesome found these in the bureau1 when I was clearing it out yesterday, in order to have all my work stuff at hand. We bought these for Clare's original IPOD mini or nano or whatever (pre iphone days), which I think we still have. I think I bought one pack, then she lost the pink one, and wanted the pink one, so I bought another pack. Looks like they sell for more now than when they were new so I'm hoping for a lot from this ebay auction1.
Work going well today, still doing training but also battling a pull request through. PROPER WORK that is.
It's pay day tomorrow, and I have my pay slip already. Looks like I'll get approximately the same pay this month as a normal month in my previous job. However I have only worked two weeks of this month. I did not get in in time for the pension contributions, but will do for next month. There's not a real pension but there is a tax free retirement savings scheme, so I'll be putting as much as I can into that. Going to try and buy some shares too but I'm just not sure how yet. Wish I had done before the coronavirus vaccine announcement last week, the shares I had my eye on have jumped about 20% since then.
Home schooling for the self isolating boy has gone a bit better today, he even had a lesson streamed over the internets. This afternoon he should have PE so I'm getting him to do a Joe Wicks workout and then some Ringfit Adventure2...
