Blog โ‰ซ 2020 โ‰ซ Chilli detector

I like this1, a chilli heat detector that plugs into your phone. But wait, what chilli is a medicine??

Along with its use by people such as consumers, grocers and restauranteurs, the device might also find use in the production of pharmaceuticals containing capsaicin. Among other things, the compound is claimed to burn fat, relieve pain, and reduce diabetic insulin spikes.

Vanlife goes mainstream, lovely conversion here on the BBC, the one credited to VANLIFE CONVERSIONS.

Nice in parts here, at least the rain and wind has stopped. I drove things one to school as it's last day of term and it saves me buying him a bus ticket. Also meant I could call into Morrisons and pick up the bits for making my slow cooker bolognaise today. It's only really the garlic pizza bread I have to get from there. We tried different garlic bread last week and the boys didn't like it. This one is a pizza base with non dairy garlic spread on top, and good. I could eat one to myself but we'll share it four ways.

Quite a good 5k when I got back, to Sandgate and back. Passed Clare when I was running back, she really does go running when she goes out then. Also passed some friends who spurred me to run a bit faster, I was doing a 4'10 km for a bit there, which would be parkrun pb time if I kept it up. Overall average 4'25/km though.

Lots of gigiversaries today again, Jon Richardson in 2016 (ok not really a gig), Goldie Lookin' Chain in 2004, The Darkness in 2003, and Carter USM this day in 1995. I have a poster for that one which I have not scanned in so I might get on to that before I even post this.

Carter USM signed tour poster from Portsmouth Pyramids in 1995

Shame on the tories voting down feeding children, well most of them... Not to take the burden of responsibility from the government (needs far less to sort this out than is being handed out in consultancy fees to cronies) but we can help by going to https://fareshare.org.uk - my standing order will provide food for hungry people.
