This looks like the ultimate commuter backpack1, so why has it not come up in my previous searches..? I have looked at KeySmart before, and like the concept. A bit concerned that all the good reviews there1 seem to be from people who got a free bag in exchange for a review, hmm... Maybe it's not for me, it's a bit of a risk. One of the reviews says an Arcteryx blade is better2 but that has the issue of being a bit turtlish with no compression straps. Guess it depends how much stuff I wedge in it. Ro keeps telling me not to go for a ninja turtle backpack, just get an ordinary inconspicuous one, but what is ordinary when it comes to bags? Hopefully Arcteryx is a brand I'll be able to see when I go to London though. Think I should shy away from the KeySmart one for now.
Weather is an absolute stinker today. I got soaked taking the little one to school. I offered to take the bigger one to school in the car, as a) the rain and b) we don't need a full week's bus pass3, but he politely declined. It would mean he'd get to school a bit early and have to wait around in the rain anyway apparently. Plus he'd have to walk round to grandpa's after school until I could collect him again, and then he'd miss gaming time...
Thinking of almost doing nothing today, just some washing and ironing in front of the TV.
A good day for gig anniversaries, at least if you measure it by quantity. Smashmouth, Divine Comedy, Camdemonium, a Stewart Lee comedy play4 with Miles Jupp and Simon Munnery,and finally AC/DC at Hammersmith Odeon!
