Well just helping out really, doing some maintenance on Broader Horizons1, the travel site of a friend of a friend.

Had a nice run this morning after taking thing one to school, got a PB on the canal path run to Hythe, though slowed right down on the way back.

Just got confirmation from work2:

you will be paid off in lieu of notice at the end of October so you will then be able to start new employment and keep it simple if that's what you wish to do

That will come in handy if say I were to be offered another job about now, then my starting date could be say the 2nd of November and I could roll straight from one pay day to the next3. I think October's pay day will be a particularly good one then, as it's back to 100% pay for notice, then another month's pay in lieu of notice (which might be tax free?), then the redundancy pay on top of that which is the equivalent of about another three month's pay. Would have been lovely it had been enhanced in any way instead of the statutory legal minimum that they could get away with, ah well.
