Blog2020 ≫ Glorious day today

Man alive it's hot out there today. Was a lovely start to the day, after I'd walked thing two to school I walked to Sandgate. There's a very calm see and people were on the beach already, I ticked quite a lot of things off my local attractions bingo card.

I only needed a seal or a dolphin to get a line1.

I actually said good morning to her who used to be in Hollyoaks this morning. We have lived on the same street for ten years now. Within another ten or twenty years we'll be great friends.

The day has warmed up hugely. I sat out on the balcony to read my new Richard Osman crime novel2, loving it still, but it's a bit hot for that. Likewise possibly for my planned walk before collecting thing two from school but I'll give it a go now. I have made tonight's dinner and made a start on their packed lunches for tomorrow, getting ahead of the game. Done some reading in preparation for a thing later this week, revising some interesting stuff. Things that I knew but had forgotten how to talk about.

We went to the Clarendon yesterday, a nice sit outside playing Top Trumps.

Gig history anniversaries today include EMF in 1992 and Thurman in 1995... where the hell is my big bag of tickets though? Have I accidentally thrown it out? I don't think I'd scanned it all yet.
