Blog2020 ≫ I have been invited to the coronavirus antibody study

Totally random apparently, but it sounds good. They sent me a survey to fill out (basically a few eligibility questions, will I bleed to death if I do this) and are going to send me a pin prick blood test. Then I send it back and we find out if I've actually had coronavirus. I'm keen to know, so this is great. I hope I've had it. Clare is also very keen to find out too so she is likely to steal it when it arrives and send it back for me. She has not been selected. They say it's random but I expect there is really some skill or desireability to it.

Ooh first post on my new computer. I took my old computer back to work today, well where I used to work, and I bought one of their old ones off them just to keep me going. I've got a computer that is like a better version of my last-but-one work laptop that so far I much prefer to my much newer model that I just had to return. To keep my last laptop would have cost me £1600, but I got this one for £500 and it's plenty good enough for everything we need (watching iplayer at tea time and updating this blog).

Also today I bought a comic1, did I mention this one the other day? It's as if the Marvel cinematic universe existed in the time of Elizabeth the first. Hope it is good. I decided to buy it as individual comics instead of the graphic novel, so I could get one to sample it. Not bought comics for a long time!

Hmm actually I don't like the sound on this laptop as much as I did on the last one, but apart from that it's fine.

Gig anniversary for the day, Suede fan club gig at the Scala. I was not in the fan club a friend got me in.
