Blog2020 ≫ Getting on with the homework

We're making progress with the school work. Thing one has finally got on with some writing about his family tree today, writing a short report on the artist Harry Clarke and the Titanic victim Charles Valentine Clarke. It took a lot of shouting but when he finally got down to it he did great work.

Thing two did a Zoom call with his class this week, and I think that has inspired him to have more things to show and tell. He did a book recommendation (below) that I hope will be included in the next school newsletter. He also made his own alternative summer fair with stalls and activities, so we made this into a video to send to the school. I hope they like it. It ends with a very sad point that I realised after is subconciously based on "Is there another series of the Pink Windmill show?"1

Thing two is quite keen on taking pictures and making funny videos right now, maybe we'll make our fortune this way?
