Blog2020 ≫ IPlayer has stopped working on the TV

Some hiccup at home that I can't figure out. Our TV (really our Humax box) has stopped playing online content, including IPlayer and Netflix. It seems like it's trying to play it but then gives up. The kids are always saying my cheap wifi is too slow, though really they mean the broadband. Don't think it is that in this case though because the same content will play on the laptop. The TV / Humax box is connected direct to the router through ethernet too so it's not too many devices interfering with the wifi either. There is an ethernet switch / hub inbetween something like this but older1 so it could be that. Maybe time to invest in a new one and see. I tried disconnecting pi hole so I don't think it's that.

While we figure it out we are having to look at the actual TV schedules and record things we want to watch, imagine!

I have my socially distanced walk and garden beers today, hope the weather olds out. Looks like it should be raining now but dry the rest of the day heading back to 18°.
