Blog ≫ 2020 ≫ We got litter pickers

Clare got us some litter pickers, so we can go and clean up the beach. On our first outing one of them broke, and the boys enthusiasm waned very quickly. Next time I'm going out on my own.

We collected quite a lot of cans when we went for a walk through the woods yesterday. There is an awesome bike track being built up there, all unofficial, just lots of enthusiastic bikers with shovels and pick-axes. Not sure if it is them, or some unrelated party, but loads of cider cans were dumped all around the place. We'll pick up a few each time we go there.

I also walked to Morrisons again today, so another 10k. Clare is going for a socially-distanced drink on Saturday and wanted some session IPA cans to take along, so I stepped up.

Have not been running yet this week, and won't be again tomorrow I suspect. Going walking with friends, and to fit in max distance but be back by lunchtime for one of them to do a conference call we're meeting at SEVEN THIRTY!

My beers arrived from Folkestone Beer Shop, so I will hopefully have those during my weekly video call with my buddies tonight. Not actually confirmed it is happening yet though.

That Madeleine McCann story disappeared as quickly as it appeared didn't it? It was definitely a distraction from another story.
