Very hot sunny day today. We rode our bikes to the library park in Hythe, following the plan from earlier in the week. I took a big backpack, packed with my Trangia stove, tins of lunch, and a football, and we had a great time.
The beach and seafront were really busy, everyone's out, everyone's got inflatable canoes. I wonder how far some of these people have come to crowd my beach.
Watching the Dominic Cummings press conference. I don't believe a word of what he's saying but I did not expect to. I don't believe his wife was ill, I don't even believe his kid needed the toilet on the way back from his unnecessary day trip.
