Blog2020 ≫ Happy easter

The boys have a lovely stash of chocolate eggs, more than they will be allowed to eat before christmas. Just four this time, from us and Mum and Dad and Jim and an egg each from Emma and Jeff. Clare hid them around the house and left them clues of where to find them. Various clues based on cyphers that they had to solve. I wasn't sure about this idea at first but it was a GREAT success. They love a treasure hunt like this. Here is their final clue to where the eggs were hidden - I mentioned yesterday we put the dartboard out in the garden.

Similarly lovely day today, high temperature of 19° and a low of 8°. This afternoon I'm taking the boys on a walk to fetch the car and see Jim. Clare left the car at his house yesterday and walked back for her authorised exercise, so we're doing the reverse journey today.

Even closer to 10,000 deaths. Strange news that it seems to be a racist virus:

There is "emerging evidence" to suggest coronavirus is having a disproportionate impact on people who are black, Asian and minority ethnic. Research suggests that more than a third of patients who are critically ill in hospital with the virus are from these backgrounds.

I have messed up the styling of these tables with the styling I added for my unnamed quiz puzzle thing, I must fix that.
